Renewable Energy Infrastructure Advisory Board

The Renewable Energy Infrastructure Advisory Board advises the Chief Investment Officer Real Assets on investments. This includes aspects of structure, commerciality, pricing, risk and strategy. All investments are presented to the Renewable Energy Infrastructure Advisory Board.

The board consists of the Chief Investment Officer Real Assets, Head of Renewable Energy Infrastructure, Global Head of Risk Analytics and two external advisors.

External advisors

Jon Brandsar 

Jon Brandsar is an independent director of Swedish Wind developer (Arise AB) and former Executive Vice President from 2003 to 2016 (member of Group Management) for Wind Assets, among others, in the Statkraft Group. He has held numerous Board positions in companies related to the energy sector. 

He holds an Engineering degree from Gjøvik Technical Institute (GTI). 

Tom Nysted

Tom Nysted has been the CEO of Agder Energy since 2006 until autumn 2019 and, as such, has long experience from the energy sector. Prior to this he was CEO of Samlerhuset, CEO in Industriinvestor ASA part of Kistefos, CEO of Olivetti Norway and he has broad experience from Telenor, ABB, Storebrand and Esso.

Tom Nysted has an engineering degree from Oslo Tekniske Høyskole and Executive management programme INSEAD.
