13 | Proposal Approve Climate Transition Action Plan Vote rationale: BHP's Climate Transition Action Plan (CTAP) meets several of NBIM's core Climate Change expectations and the company has achieved notable operational emission reductions. However, the new CTAP does not fully meet NBIM’s Climate Change expectations on transition plans. We expect companies to implement time-bound and quantified transition plans, designed to deliver on their interim emission reduction targets. We encourage BHP to provide further details on the decarbonisation levers it is pursuing to continue reducing its emissions and reach its interim operational emission reduction targets.
