Karsten Kallevig becomes special advisor to the CEO

Kallevig has built the real estate organisation and portfolio during the past decade both as Chief Investment Officer Real Estate in Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM) and as CEO of Norges Bank Real Estate Management (NBREM). Kallevig transitioned NBREM back into NBIM last year.

“I am pleased to have Karsten in a more strategic role. He has built a high-quality organisation over the past decade and carries with him valuable investment experience which will benefit us going forward”, says CEO Nicolai Tangen.

Kallevig will step out of the leader group and looks forward to contributing in a new role. There is an ongoing internal process to recruit a Chief Real Asset Officer, and Kallevig will be working closely with this person.

The new leader group is scheduled to be announced in October.
