In determining our voting decision for the 2017 annual general meeting of Credit Suisse, we have had a number of meetings with the Chairperson and other selected board members. Executive remuneration has been a focus of the agenda.
We have a long-standing dialogue with the executive management and non-executive board members of Credit Suisse AG. The board has listened to shareholder concerns related to remuneration resolutions at the Credit Suisse AG annual general meeting. Norges Bank Investment Management welcomes the announcement made by the board on 13 April regarding a revision of executive remuneration.
It is on this basis that we are now able to vote in favour of the remuneration-related resolutions at the annual general meeting on 28 April.
