NBIM Makes Organisational Changes
Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM), which manages the Norwegian Pension Fund Global, has made organisational changes to strengthen its investment management.
Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM), which manages the Norwegian Pension Fund Global, has made organisational changes to strengthen its investment management.
Petter Johnsen has been named chief investment officer for equities. Karsten Kallevig has been appointed chief investment officer for real estate. Chief Executive Officer Yngve Slyngstad will also be chief investment officer for allocation.
The position of chief risk officer, formerly held by Deputy CEO Trond Grande, has been filled by Jan Thomsen. Grande will also be chief of staff, a new position. The changes are effective 1 April.
NBIM’s leader group consists of the following:
Yngve Slyngstad: chief executive officer/chief investment officer, allocation
Trond Grande: deputy chief executive officer/chief of staff
Petter Johnsen: chief investment officer, equities
Karsten Kallevig: chief investment officer, real estate
Jessica Irschick: chief treasurer
Jan Thomsen: chief risk officer
