Stephen Hirsch resigns as deputy CEO

Stephen Hirsch has resigned as deputy CEO of Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM), effective on 1 October, 2010.  Hirsch joined NBIM as a portfolio manager in 1998 and held a number of positions including Chief Operating Officer until being named deputy CEO in June 2008. He plans to move back to the US with his family.
